Complete character builds and gear recommendations
Important Notes About Set Bonuses
⚠️ 4-piece + 2-piece combinations are NOT required early on
You can run a full 6-piece (24★) setup first, then transition into mixed 2-piece builds later.
Why?
- Early game: 2-piece bonuses are weaker
- 6-piece builds are easier to complete
- Reaching 24★ passive bonuses provides better early efficiency
Example:
Leviathan III (Follow-Up) is weaker unless your unit relies heavily on normal attacks.
Constantine III provides a strong flat +375% Crit DMG, which is generally stronger early.
⚠️ Downside:
6-piece builds cap your late-game ceiling. Mixed builds scale better once heavily invested.
General D-Cypher Guide
Most Attackers
Beowulf Light 3 and Leviathan are what most attackers use
Normal Attack DPS
Specific units that rely on normal attacks like Caesar/FateBreaker/Witch NoNo use Odin instead of Leviathan
Debuffers
Tsuki Light 3/4 and Amaterasu are what most debuffers use. Tsuki other number parts are also usable
Buffers/Healers
Tsuki Light 3/4 and Serpent are what buffers/healers use
Tanks
Emperor's Edict and Hela Light 4 are what tanks use most. This set is oriented more on giving your team more survivability in return for a softer front line
Constantine Set
Generally trash unless you're using True dmg teams like Johann/Ryujin. Then Beo Light 3 and Constantine works.
But generally if your team has access to Alter Lumi, then Leviathan is better instead

Hela / Tsukiyomi / Beowulf Sets
These sets are not included in character builds above because:
- They require very high investment
- You must reach 18★ set bonuses first
- Each piece must be at least 3★ awakened
- Their 2-piece bonuses are strong but expensive
Pre-End Game:
Standard D-Cypher sets are more efficient
End Game:
Players transition into Tsukiyomi, Hela, and Beowulf 2-piece replacements
Final Notes

- ✓ Star scaling and awakening stats matter significantly more at endgame
